With the mobilization of trade to the electronic environment, there has been a significant increase in the number of disputes arising from E-commerce.However, current traditional dispute resolution methods cannot respond to evolving needs to resolve such disputes.The uncertainties about resolving possible disputes and the concerns about an effective way to exercise their right to seek remedies causes consumers to take a distant stance toward E-commerce.Therefore, protecting the rights of consumers (in case of a possible #Stockmans breastplate dispute) is important.In order to increase consumer confidence in E-commerce and use the existing E-commerce potential entirely, there should be an effective and rapid disputesettlement mechanism to resolve disputes arising from E-commerce.
It is 1196 clear that there is a need for a new dispute resolution system that is compatible with the unique features of E-commerce.As such, the search for alternative dispute resolution methods for the disputes arising from electronic consumer contracts has come to the agenda.Online alternative dispute resolution methods, and electronic arbitration, have emerged due to the need for alternatives to litigation and traditional alternative dispute resolution methods.This study analyzes the problems encountered in the resolution of disputes arising from cross-border electronic consumer contracts and electronic arbitration as an online alternative dispute resolution method to be used for such disputes.
